I have had the honor of presenting private workshops for local businesses and schools including The American Red Cross, Buffalo Suzuki Strings, Daemen College, Rich Products, M&T Bank, Harisa Ayurvedic Wellness, and Child & Family Services of Buffalo. The yoga tradition offers many tools for relieving the stresses of modern life and finding peace and clarity. Whether you are stepping on stage to perform a violin concerto or organizing a corporate meeting, the tools of proper posture, proper breathing, and mental focus can work wonders in making life easier and more enjoyable. We all yearn to be more effective human beings and live a fulfilling life. Yoga science teaches us how!

The following are my most popular topics for private presentations:

1. Stress Management
Stress and anxiety are major issues in modern society and leave us feeling dissipated, confused and oftentimes physically sick. Find out exactly what stress is and from where it comes along with proven methods for relaxation and mindfulness from the yoga tradition. Empower yourself to take control of your own mental well-being.

2. Meditation and Mindfulness
Mindfulness means living in the present moment with clarity and focus. Learn techniques for cultivating mindfulness in your day to day life becoming a more effective, happier person. This class includes an introduction to meditation practice.

3. Chair Yoga for the Office
When people spend a large part of their day sitting, standing or performing repetitive tasks, the result can be a build up of tension and discomfort in the body. Learn easy movements to realign posture and relieve aching muscles that can be done anywhere without special clothing or equipment. Chair yoga is simple, relaxing and invigorating!

4. Restorative Yoga for Deep Relaxation
Enjoy a gentle yoga practice with ample time for slow stretching and deep breathing. Emphasis will be on becoming aware of the mind-body connection and finding your inner source of peace and calm. Clean, carpeted floors are required for this class.
